I have a generic USB device that I want to use in Windows 10 IoT. The device is WinUSB compatible as I can get it to work with WinUSB on regular Windows (through http://libusbdotnet.sourceforge.net/V2/Index.html).
https://treeeffect769.weebly.com/blog/onenote-2010-download. Windows 10 IoT (on Raspberry Pi 2) has the WinUSB driver (found in C:windowssystem32winusb.dll) but I can't get Windows 10 IoT to use this driver for my device.
Winamp is a media player application that is free to download and use. It features a left-hand navigation and file management system for audio and video files as well as podcasts and external devices such as MP3 players. Sep 20, 2016 As WinQSB is an third party program, I suggest you to get in touch with the appprogram developer and check if it is compatible with Windows 10. I suggest you to check in compatibility mode. Following link is an article on Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows (Applies to Windows 10 also). C: Windows System32 devcon dpadd myinffile.inf. The result of that command is 'Driver package 'oem0.inf' added' (Which is a bit strange as I can't see any reference to oem0.inf in the INF file) So the question boils down to this: How can I make Windows 10 IoT use the WinUSB driver for my generic USB device? Mar 29, 2011 WinQSB for PC – Do you need help when taking decisions? WinQSB app was developed by Georgia Tech Inc. This Windows General app is updated to the latest version at 2011-03-29. So if you need the new version of this WinQSB App to run into your Windows PC.
I tried to install it using the INF-file found here.
Because that INF-file refers to amd64 I made some minor changes to it to hopefully make it ARM compatible. I used files found in this sample.
So in effect I changed this from the original file:
[Manufacturer]
%ManufacturerName% = Standard,NTamd64
[Standard.NTamd64]
%DeviceName% =USB_Install, USBVID_0547&PID_1002
%ManufacturerName% = Standard,NTamd64
[Standard.NTamd64]
%DeviceName% =USB_Install, USBVID_0547&PID_1002
to this:
[Manufacturer]
%ManufacturerName%=Standard,NT$ARCH$
[Standard.NT$ARCH$]
%DeviceName% =USB_Install, USBVID_00E3&PID_6324
%ManufacturerName%=Standard,NT$ARCH$
[Standard.NT$ARCH$]
%DeviceName% =USB_Install, USBVID_00E3&PID_6324
Winqsb Para Windows 10
I then connected to the Raspberry Pi 2 and ran the following command:
C:WindowsSystem32>devcon dp_add myinffile.inf
![Winqsb 2 0 Winqsb 2 0](https://imag.malavida.com/mvimgbig/download-fs/winqsb-22599-1.jpg)
The result of that command is 'Driver package 'oem0.inf' added'
(Which is a bit strange as I can't see any reference to oem0.inf in the INF file)
So the question boils down to this: How can I make Windows 10 IoT use the WinUSB driver for my generic USB device?
